19.07.2016 visitor movements on major events

The main question ist: how do visitors of major events move? What influences them in their behavior? How can organizers drive major movements with media? Our former colleague Christoph Groneberg (now BBK) and Toni Eichler were researching on these issues. Toni was able to present the first results as a poster on the GI Forum / AGIT 2016 in Salzburg.

The “Unique Action Week” at the University of Siegen conducted April 28, with the participation of the Institute of Media Research. The initiative aim to sensitize and to motivate students of the value of volunteering and support in cicil protection.

22.03.2016 6th “Workshop Festival”

On the 17th and 18th March was the 6th nationwide “Workshop Festival” at the Chiemsee. Prof. Dr. Gebhard Rusch and Toni Eichler presented current findings according the subscriber communication to the festival organizers and responsible sources of federal and state authorities, in addition to the police headquarter of upper south Bavaria.

03.07.2015 project BaSiGo goes to an end

The project “BaSiGo” (building bricks for the protection of mass events) were sponsored as a part of the security research program of the Federal Government by the Federal Ministry of Research from 2012 to 2015. Institutions from science, industry and practice, including the Institute of Media Research were included.
